What am I agreeing to when agreeing to the Terms of Use?

These Terms and Conditions of Use, commonly known as ‘Terms of Use’, apply to the GPII website, all of its associated sites, its subsidiaries and affiliates and the different DeveloperSpace sites around the world which we will refer to as ‘the Site’. The Site is property of Raising the Floor – International Associations (RtF) and its licensors.

By using the site, you agree to the aforementioned terms of use, which means that your use of the Site following any possible change that may happen in it will mean that you accept and agree to the changes.

What does it mean to be registered?

While browsing through the site is open to all, the use of some of its features and services is only reserved to the people registered. Registered members will hold certain rights and responsibilities with respect to the access to their account and the password they use.

Which type of information is accepted?

By using the site, you also agree to the veracity, the safety and the integrity of the information you transmit through the website.

Are the Terms and Conditions the same upon registering? What am I agreeing to?

While many areas are open for everyone to use, certain are only open after registering. All material submitted by the users and their individual use of the GPII website is governed by the general Terms and Conditions. By registering, you agree that both your username and your password will be safe and non-shareable, and that you will not pass as someone else or create multiple, false accounts. Being a member means accessing different services while only registering once. If a service you wish to subscribe to has additional terms and conditions, you will be asked to accept these separately.

What about my privacy?

It is the GPII Privacy Policy that governs the use of information collected from and provided by the users on the website. To know more about it, have a look at our Privacy Policy page and learn more about how things work.

What are the Terms and Conditions in regards to user submissions?

RtF does not claim ownership of the content materials users provide to RtF, including posts, uploads or submissions to the website. However, by uploading or submitting any content to this website, users automatically grant RtF a perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable, non-exclusive right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from and distribute said content into any form, medium or technology.

This website does not intend to market any products or services to children. Users warrant to not have endangered themselves or others, or broken any laws in order to obtain or provide the content submitted, nor infringed any fundamental right. By submitting content, users must warrant to be the copyright owners of said content, accept full responsibility at any time, but especially if a problem is set to arouse, to be discreet and respectful, always work within the realms of legality, accept that the information might be used for research and marketing purposes, and indemnify if a problem occurs as a result of a violation of the Terms and Conditions.

What if I encounter a problem by clicking on a linked website?

This Site may contain links to other independent third-party websites, which we refer to as ‘linked sites’. These sites are not under RtF’s control and are by no means RtF’s responsibility. They are simply there to provide convenience to the users.

Website Disclaimer

Since its creation, the GPII website has been taken good care of. While every little detail has carefully been thought of in the hopes of maintaining a certain level of accuracy, it cannot be warranted that the site is free from errors or inaccuracies. Limitation of liability

We make no warranties about the user’s submission of content or information, that the website is error-free, or that errors will be corrected and the server from which it is run is liable for any problems that may arise. If a user feels dissatisfied with the content appearing on this website or with its Terms and Conditions, our advice is to discontinue using the website as it is the only remedy available at the moment. At RtF, we reserve the right to change or discontinue any aspect or feature of this website at any time.

Indemnification

By agreeing to these Terms of Use, you also agree to defend, indemnify and hold us harmless from any and all claims, suits, allegations, liabilities, damages, penalties, fines, costs and expenses relating to or arising from any actual or alleged violation of these terms.
