11.2.2.33: Error identification

Where ICT is non-web software that provides a user interface which is closed to assistive technologies for screen reading, it shall meet requirement 5.1.3.15 (Non-visual error identification).

Notes

While it is important for errors that can be detected to be described to the user, clause 11.2.1.33 requires this information to be provided in text, as defined in WCAG 2.0. Clause 5.1.3.15 addresses the same need to describe errors to users.
