Tecla Shield
The Tecla Shield is a device that enables connection of powered wheelchairs and adapted switches to Bluetooth-enabled electronic devices. Together with the Tecla App, the Tecla Shield may be used to access and control Android-powered devices and is also available for the iPhone and iPad.

Code
In order to start contributing code and/or designs to the Tecla Shield project, follow the steps below:
- Fork this repo. For detailed instructions visit http://help.github.com/fork-a-repo/
- To work on the firmware, download and install the Arduino software
- The firmware for the Tecla Shield is available in the sketches directory, simply open the project you want to work on from the Arduino development environment.
- Hack away! but please make sure you follow [this branching model] (http://nvie.com/posts/a-successful-git-branching-model/). That means, make your pull requests against the develop branch, not the master branch.
Review
Another very useful way to contribute to the Tecla Shield project is to identify any bugs or issues that may still be lurking around. You can also submit requests for the features that you think the Tecla Shield is still missing. To get started, follow the steps below:
